The literal meaning of aloha is “the presence of breath” or “the breath of life”. It comes from “Alo”, meaning presence, front and face, and “ha”, meaning breath. Aloha is a way of living and treating each other with love and respect.

Kuulei started teaching Yoga while living in Berlin in 2003. She was a teacher at Spirit Yoga when it first opened. In 2007 she moved to the Big Island, Hawaii, where she ran her own yoga studio. Yoga always helped her to stay grounded and connected to her inner self – each day, even in the most challenging times. This precious experience is what she wants to share with her students.
